Vell's stage career began in childhood, She often performed for BMAC special school and made her In 2002, professional acting debut when she played the lead and acted alongside with Kenderick Cheng in "The Christmas Story" as Mary, a production at Fil-Indian, which is based on the story of the coming and birth of Jesus Christ. Acting career began on the stage and became interested in acting after performing every Christmas plays annually since 6 years old and gained interest in television acting after watching Justine Thornton in Hardwicke House. Baria began memorizing and re-enacting the shows she saw on television. As an actress on stage, She often played strong-willed, independent, playful, charming, sweet and often light-weighted characters. Vell showed a mixture of passion and strength in her roles. Vell received good press for her performances. Furthermore, she never took acting lessons. She wants to be able to act as good as her idols and admits that she is still trying to “figure out” her career in acting and she is continuously taking workshops since high school.
Before doing her dancing and singing, she ventured on acting career specializing theater at the early young age of 7, she made her first annual play in a non-spoken dialogue called "The Christmas Story" with Kendrick Cheng as Joseph while Vell portrayed Mary. Then she ventured on her first musical play called "A Message from Me" where she sang and narrate at the same time. After their huge success on their first musical play, Vell made her major public performance with other children with autism including Katie Kilduff in a Motivational play "Believe The Miracles Of Christmas" where Vell showcased her extensive vocal range and it became more exposed for her first classical performance with "The Prayer" with Peter Turcotte during her 4th musical play with BMAC called "The Mission" where Vell became one of the Choir members. Lastly, Vell became more known to the public of her powerful stage presence comparing to musical actress and a OPM legend Lea Salongs (her idol) for her final play with BMAC "Disney Princesses" where Vell portrayed Belle from the story "Beauty and the Beast" with her musical partner Peter Turcotte as Gaston in which she concludes the play as her last but plans to take a break from the theater stage.
After a 6-year long break, Vell made a comeback as Frenchy in a short play Grease as a fourth year high school student and acted along side Danny Barakat as Danny Zuko and Trixie Raymundo as Sandy Olsen. Vell made her first major production with Sining Tanghalan where she took part of the biographical play of "Ora Et Labora" where she portrayed as Abundantia. She made her non singing role of "In My Mind" a monologue play directed by Narella Cabrera where the play shows the experiences of women who involved in violent vices (cyber sex, teenage pregnancy, human trafficking). In October of 2014, Vell made her first professional theater career as Understudy for Lady Capulet in the re-launch musical production of Romeo and Juliet alongside actor-tenor-coach Terence Guillermo (as Lord Capulet) and pop singer Gian Gloria (as Juliet) and other well known theater actors from the KAPI theater company under the direction of the well known theater director Luigi Nacario and music by Maestro Eugene Belbis under the production of Kids Acts Philippines and did it again in 2016 as understudy of Lady Capulet.
