Vell has served the world with her talents in singing and motivational speaking are her main professions with minor professions as a beauty queen and an occasional actress. She was mainly know for her conventional singing talent, and her distinctive natural acting prowess, Vell has got what it takes to take the world by storm with her God gifted talent in performing whilst dealing with autism.
Vell may not be a showbiz name but she is no foreign to performing on stage. To date, she has garnered autism-oriented local guesting-concerts, seminars and national shows on her early years before she ventured for invites from the corporate events. Baria remained as both emerging and developing performer throughout her long career by continually re-inventing herself, professionally and characteristically. A trained classical singer, Vell is also a highly active concert singer and has also recently performed choral, opera and Broadway songs displaying her soprano voice adding to her a rising popularity.
She has a strong competitive singer and has won talent shows such as Paligsining ng mga Batang May K, Search for Talentadong PWD and San Antonio's Got Talent and other competitions such as Kundiman sa Makati, and the inaugural Fides Cuyugan Vocal Competition as a semi-finalist. She once competed abroad for her singing in 2016 and 2017 where she was given a special award at the AnAn's Autistic Gala Night. In 2017, She also competed for the first time on an online talent search called 1in360 where she is one of the shortlisted candidates by fanclubs. She was the main favorite to win by the French speaking fan clubs.
She is also an experienced and trained chorister where she sang for 3 choirs Cantus, Union Church of Manila Chancel Choir and St. Scholastica's College Chamber Choir. As a choir member of the St. Scho Chamber Choir, they performed for such prestigious events such as ASEAN Business Awards and the state dinner at the prestigious Malacanang Palace in 2017 as one of their memorable year of performances. Along with UCM Chancel Choir, they performed for the first time at Madz Et Al in 2017 as well.
Outside the Philippines, she expand her choral experience abroad by being part of the choir for the First United Methodist Church in Whittier, California for only 3 months before the lock-down was declared due to the CoVid19 outbreak in 2020 where her choir activities went affected. During her time with the choir, she was appreciated and respected by it's both conductor and the members of the choir.
Apart from her appearances on the music stage she devoted herself to stage acting. In her acting career, She started out in musical plays. She has portrayed roles that have pure emotions and requires full singing voice in the early years of her acting in entertainment industry. She appeared in plays such as "Romeo and Juliet" with KAPI and "Walang Sugat" by her college's music department.
During her off duty as a performer on stage, Vell recorded songs from pop to classical in different languages and it can be seen and heard predominantly on her Youtube account. Besides singing in different languages and musical styles, She also payed low-key tribute to singers Siti Nurhaliza, Dima Bilan and Ziana Zain in all which she gained more views and compliments.
Outside performing, Vell serves as one of the conveyors and core members of organizations for people with disabilities - Hands in Inclusion (2017-2021) and Autism Strong PH (2019-2021) where she gave talks about her story about living with autism both virtual and for colleges and universities.
Vell has been featured in television magazines such as Unang Hirit, Bandila, 24 Oras, TV Patrol, media news Manila Bulletin, Philippine Star, Sampaguita Nation and Manila Standard and also appeared in Mornings at ANC, 700 Club Asia and Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman.
As a beauty queen, she competed twice at Miss Possibilities - the first pageant in Asia for special needs and was considered competing for Miss Unlimited after her 1st attempt in Miss Possibilities but it met with no fruition. She also tried for Tronix Image Model in 2013 and 2015. With all of these minimal experience, she aspires to become a model to a higher level for a purpose to convey her message that people with autism can also be models beyond the photos.
Born on March 9th 1995 in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines which was the entertainment capital of the country, she discovered her talent first in dancing where she does that on special events in her first kindergarten and would like to continue doing it as part of her fitness regime at that time until she was asked to sing in an autism seminar organized by her school's director and her mentor Shanti Kilduff for 4 consecutive years. With these talents she has, that helped her gain confidence when she is on her professional corporate world. Vell originally wanted to become a photographer, a diplomat, and a teacher for kids with intellectual disabilities and also wants to dabble in becoming a multilingual translator due to her longtime passion for learning foreign languages besides being raised bilingual.
Vell’s other musical interests includes songwriting, producing and conducting. During her downtime, she enjoys mobile photography, meditation, makeup looks, gaming, dancing, video blogging about her autism stories and adventures, watching stock car racing events. Other things she loves to do was doing yoga and Pilates when she has a chance.
Vell is on her final term in securing her Certification in Music Performance and is groomed for her Bachelor's program in Education and International Studies as planned. However she dropped out and she's on her 4th year collegiate term with 3 semesters short towards completion.
